
Body Systems Research Project
There are 11 organ systems in the human body. You and a partner will be randomly selected to research one system. You may put your findings on a poster OR create a PowerPoint with approximately 10 informational slides (12 including title page and reference page).

Poster people will attach this to the back of the poster; PowerPoint people will include a slide at the end of the presentation. Make a list as you go along.
Please use at least one print resource and a maximum of three online resources (ie, a total of three or four resources).
Information to include:
1) Title and border for posters; title page for PowerPoint; authors’ names for both
2) What is the function of the system?
3) What organs are included in the system? What do they look like? What function does each organ perform within the system?
4) Why is this system important?
5) How can we help to keep the system healthy?
6) What are some common diseases or malfunctions of the system?
7) Ten interesting or unusual facts (Did you know?)
8) References (refer to sample page on the reverse of this sheet)
9) Please make up a study sheet AND a quiz for your system, to be given two school days after your presentation.
