Great Canadian Geography Challenge Resources!

The GCGC is a series of competitions, at the school,
provincial, and national levels, designed to test students’ knowledge and skills in
geography. Scholarships and other prizes will be awarded to the top students.
The Level Two tests will be held in late January.

          Geo-Find: Allows you to choose one of three skill levels to try
          to find the locations of countries, cities, rivers, and mountains.

          Geo-Quest: “twenty-question” style, but with only ten questions
          - discover the “mystery” animals from around the world

          Geo-Tour: Earth’s landmarks, for example, reversing river and
          ancient cities

          This is the National Geographic website. Try the “go to kids”

          This site has information about the earth’s crust.

          This is a guide on where to look for information on geography.
          There are hundreds of useful links to other geography
          websites.

          This site is a geographic dictionary.

     This site has many useful geography links.  Go to: *geography games,
     quizzes and trivia.
